We always go to the Wild Lotus for birthdays and special occasions. Why? You have tablecloths with cutlery set on the table. Your drink and meal orders are taken at the table. You feel special, in a wonderful atmosphere. The food Is great as are the prices of the specials. We always decorate our tables with table scatters and balloons. Drop the cake earlier in the day, nothing is a problem. The staff are great. Friendly and very helpful. How often do you go out to dinner only to stand in line to order, then get your cutlery and hope the table is clean. Then, line up for your drinks. As, well add paying big prices for not so good Food. Well, if you want more, then go to the Wild Lotus. You will have a great night out.

My experience at Wild Lotus was definitely an amazing one. I had organized to have a surprise party thrown for my husband, which would guests coming from Brisbane, Adelaide, etc. The communication and organization with the restaurant was fantastic, and the surprise went off without a hitch! Everyone LOVED the food - it was incredibly delicious. The restaurant also made a cake for us, which was brought out for my husband with candles and singing. The service was also very good, with ordered meals arriving almost simultaneously for all 15 guests. Drinks and extras were prepared quickly. At the end of the night, the owner even gave us suggestions for where to go, as our friends wanted to continue on to a pub. Overall, it was a brilliant experience, and I am incredibly grateful to the owners and servers for all of their help on the night itself. I *highly* recommend this restaurant for anyone in the Hervey Bay area looking to dine on some fantastic fare. Thanks again!!!

I was told about this restaurant by a local - glad I listened. The restaurant has a good menu and regularly changing specials. I tried the Moreton Bay Bugs & they were beautifully tasting. A real treat. On a side note - the beer was cold and inexpensive. While I was there, I noticed the staff had accommodated a couple who were restricted to wheelchairs. On another table was a family with children. The staff were excellent all round.

We ate twice at Wild Lotus on our recent holiday at Hervey Bay. We were very happy with our meals both nights. The second night was our sons birthday and they have a birthday special which is the birthday persons main meal is free. The owner also sang Happy Birthday which made the whole restaurant join in and totally embarrass our son. Both nights the restaurant was full which is a great testimony.

We visited Wild Lotus twice on our recent holiday in Hervey Bay. Their Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday specials are quite attractive and very tasty offers. We were more than happy with our USA Pork Belly Spare Ribs etc on Monday and our Black Angus steak etc the following Tuesday for only $15 each.
